Families can be surprised at how difficult breastfeeding can be. Best to be taken while you are pregnant, this class will give you a jumpstart on your breastfeeding journey! Come (along with your partner!) and be motivated to start breastfeeding off right.

- Infant feeding cues
- Best breastfeeding positions
- Effective latch techniques
- How to know your baby is getting enough
- The importance of skin to skin
- What to do if your infant is tongue-tied

Breastfeeding four children was a real challenge for me. I struggled with latch, milk supply, and confidence. I needed help. I was fortunate to find a wonderful Lactation Consultant who helped me successfully feed my babies.
I wanted to help moms facing similar challenges, so I took my BA in Biology from Westmont College and returned to school at UCSD to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
